Jakarta, October 22, 2026 – Businesses supported by Indonesia Eximbank / Indonesia Eximbank (Lembaga Pembiayaan Ekspor Indonesia/LPEI) recorded potential export transactions worth US$7.3 million during Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026. The value represents five potential transactions involving Indonesian exporters and prospective buyers from various countries.

The largest potential transaction came from coffee commodities, with a value of US$7 million destined for the Netherlands and the United States. In addition, potential tea exports worth US$23,000 were identified for Malaysia and Germany, while home décor products recorded a potential export transaction valued at US$250,000 to Canada.

The achievement highlights the significant opportunities available in global markets for Indonesian products, ranging from leading commodities to value-added products targeting specialized market segments. In addition to generating potential transactions, participation in Trade Expo Indonesia 2026 also opened opportunities for Indonesian businesses supported by LPEI to penetrate new export markets that had previously been less optimally explored.

“Trade Expo Indonesia serves as a strategic platform to connect Indonesian exporters with global prospective buyers while opening access to new export markets. The potential transactions generated during the exhibition demonstrate that Indonesian products continue to have strong competitiveness and significant opportunities in international markets. Indonesia Eximbank will continue to strengthen its role as a growth partner for exporters through financing, guarantees, insurance, advisory services, and expanded access to international markets,” said Maria Sidabutar, Head of the Advisory Services Division of LPEI.

As part of its efforts to expand market access for Indonesian businesses, Indonesia Eximbank actively collaborates with Trade Attachés and Indonesia Trade Promotion Centers (ITPCs) in various countries to identify market opportunities, source potential buyers, and connect exporters with buyers whose requirements match the characteristics of their products. This collaboration has also contributed to opening export opportunities in new destination countries, thereby strengthening market diversification and enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesian products in global markets.

The strong interest from SMEs, corporations, and international buyers was also reflected in the enthusiasm of visitors throughout TEI 2026. Over the five-day exhibition, more than 2,000 visitors, comprising buyers, exporters, corporate businesses, and SMEs, visited the Indonesia Eximbank booth. Visitors not only sought information on Indonesia Eximbank’s financial and non-financial services but also had the opportunity to directly explore 10 featured products showcased by Indonesia Eximbank’s debtors and supported business partners.

To provide more comprehensive services for export-oriented businesses, Indonesia Eximbank also collaborated with the Directorate General of Customs and Excise and the National Single Window Agency (LNSW) to provide export consultation services. Through this collaboration, businesses gained direct access to information and consultation on export financing, customs procedures, and international trade. More than 300 consultation sessions were conducted during the exhibition, providing practical answers and solutions to challenges faced by businesses in expanding their export markets.

Through its active participation in Trade Expo Indonesia 2026, Indonesia Eximbank reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the national export ecosystem, expanding international market access for Indonesian businesses, and supporting greater contributions from exports to national economic growth.
