Jakarta, 26 Juni 2025 - Lembaga Pembiayaan Ekspor Indonesia (LPEI) and PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk officially signed a cooperation agreement on June 17, 2025, to provide a revolving credit facility with a multicurrency scheme (IDR & USD). This collaboration represents a strategic step in strengthening support for increasing national exports.

The ceremonial signing of this credit cooperation agreement was attended by Anwar Harsono, Acting Managing Director of Finance, Operations, and IT at LPEI, and Ricky Antariksa, Director of Global Banking at Maybank Indonesia.

As a Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, LPEI has a mandate to promote national exports through financing, guarantees, insurance, and consulting services. In carrying out this mandate, LPEI continues to expand its collaboration with various parties, including the banking sector.

Anwar Harsono, Acting Managing Director of Finance, Operations, and Information Technology at LPEI (Indonesia Eximbank), expressed his appreciation for Maybank Indonesia's trust and commitment to supporting LPEI through this credit facility. This revolving credit facility, with a multicurrency scheme, provides LPEI with flexibility in managing its export financing needs in line with global market dynamics.

"This collaboration reflects the commitment of LPEI and Maybank Indonesia to strengthening Indonesia's export competitiveness through strategic financial support. We believe this synergy will open up broader opportunities to strengthen an inclusive and sustainable export ecosystem," said Anwar.

This collaboration also forms part of the ongoing synergy between LPEI and Maybank Indonesia, which has been established through various forms of support, including funding, credit guarantees, and capacity building for export-oriented micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

Maybank Indonesia's Director of Global Banking, Ricky Antariksa, stated that this export financing support aligns with the implementation of Maybank Indonesia's M25+ Strategic Plan, which emphasizes increased customer focus and is part of the SP7 strategic program, Uplift Indonesia.

"This synergy demonstrates Maybank Indonesia's commitment to supporting economic growth through exports and the provision of sustainable financial solutions," he said.

"LPEI hopes this collaboration will continue to be productive and have a tangible impact on national economic growth. This collaboration lays a crucial foundation for future synergy, particularly in enhancing Indonesia's export capacity as part of its economic transformation. Throughout 2024, Indonesian exports totaled USD 264.7 billion, representing a 2.29% increase compared to the previous year. With national economic growth of 5.03%, the export sector is a key driver of economic development," said Anwar.
