Jakarta, 7th January 2026 – Rionald Silaban, The Director General of State Assets, appoints Sukatmo Padmosukarso as The Chairman of the Board of Directors also serves as Executive Director of Indonesia Eximbank, while Doddy Rahadi is a member of the Board of Directors. The event, which took place at the LPEI office, was also attended by the Managing Directors of the Ministry of Finance's Special Mission Vehicle.
At this inauguration, the Minister of Finance emphasized that “The inauguration of new officials within LPEI must be used as momentum to reform LPEI from top to bottom.” In addition, the Minister of Finance also reminded everyone to reposition LPEI's mandate as a catalyst for national export transformation. “LPEI's support must be strategic and impactful in order to accelerate national economic growth,” said the Minister of Finance.
The Minister of Finance also emphasized that LPEI's financing direction should focus on increasing domestic added value and expanding the exporter base in priority sectors, particularly in manufacturing, agro-industry, and the green economy. He also highlighted the boldness of policies and the effectiveness of institutional support for halal products, ranging from food to cosmetics.
In addition to the duties and functions of LPEI itself, Purbaya emphasized the importance of trust, governance, and disciplined risk management as the foundation for LPEI's sustainability. Closing his remarks, the Minister of Finance congratulated Sukatmo Padmosukarso as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of LPEI, and Doddy Rahadi as Member of the Board of Directors. Purbaya hoped that the new leadership would bring a culture of integrity, accountability, and professionalism across all lines of the organization so that LPEI could become an accelerator of inclusive and sustainable export growth.
